Includes the common varieties like "Jalapeño", "Cayenne", "New Mexican" and many others, like the nonpungent bell peppers and wild Tepins.
Even they're most the cultivated plants, I wouldn't recommend these as a first choice for a grower, at least not for indoor growing as in common, they aren't very resistant to pests, diseases and extreme conditions except for the wild and ornamental varieties of C. annuum
